About genomics @ biostat
We are a group of statisticians and computer scientists dedicated to
advancing medicine and public health through the development of
computational tools for genomics data and collaborations with
biologists working in the area. Our interest include developing
and applying analysis tools for high-throughput technologies such as second-generation
sequencing, microarrays, mass-spectrometry, and flow cytometry. Scientifically,
we are interested in understanding variation in gene and protein expression, regulatory
networks, and developing diagnostic tools for individualized medicine. We collaborate
closely with biologists interested in Epigenetics, Cancer Genetics, Genome Wide Association
Studies, Proteomics, Immunology, and Stem Cell Biology.
