Converting ASCII file into Stata format using Stat/Transfer

1 Start "Stattranfser" program,

2 Click the windown right to "Input File Type", choose
  "ASCII-Delimited" item from the pop-window,

3 Click the "Browse" button right to "File Specification"
  to choose your input ASCII file, 

4 Click the windown right to "Output File Type", choose
  "Stata Version 6" item from the pop-window,

5 Key in your output file name with full path in the window
  right to "File Specification" , or click "Browse" button 
  right to "File Specification" to key in your file name 
  under your specified directory,

6 Click the "Transfer" button to finish the converting.
  If you want to covert more files, click the "Reset"
  button and redo from step2-6.
