Final: Exam

The final will be assigned May 6, 2009 and due May 13, 2009 at 5pm.

To hand in your solution write-up:
Turn in a hard copy (no electronic submissions) into either Haley Hedlin's, Howard Chang's, or Bruce Swihart's departmental box,
located opposite of the Biostatistics Departmental Chair office on the 3rd floor by 5pm 5/13.

Final Exam Rules:
This exam is to be considered a take-home test. Thus, please do not collaborate or consult with others. You may use any reading material (class notes, books, etc) you wish. Please keep your write- ups short and do not include reams of analyses output. Please attach an appendix of the (well documented) code you used. For the final exam, the BBS will be used only for clarification of the exam questions, wording or expectations.



Midterm: A Study of Pain:

The midterm will be assigned April 15, 2009 and due April 22, 2009 by 5pm.

There are two options to hand in your solution write-up:
1) Give Francesca a hard copy (no electronic submissions) at the end of class on 4/22.
2) Turn in a hard copy (no electronic submissions) into either Haley Hedlin's, Howard Chang's, or Bruce Swihart's departmental box,
located opposite of the Biostatistics Departmental Chair office on the 3rd floor by 5pm 4/22.

Midterm Rules:
1) you are allowed to consult notes and the textbook
2) you are allowed to consult each other
3) it must be an independent work and not a team work (concerning the write up)
4) use of the BBS is encouraged for clarifications and content questions. Students may answer other students posts on BBS.
