I am now a third year Ph.D.student in Department of Biostatistics at Johns Hopkins University. My current research is mainly focus on the development of statistical models for recurrent event data with possible informative censoring in biomedical follow-up studies. This research is under the supervison of my advisor, Prof. Mei-Cheng Wang. We propose to investigate recurrent events via gap time perspective, which the time between the two successive events is of interest. Statistical modeling is complicated and challenged by induced censoring and correlation between gap times. .
