NIH project: Epidemiologic study of extramedical analgesic use
Estimate the associations of extramedical analgesic use with demographic characteristics and patterns of other drug use, examine the trends of extramedical analgesic use and dependence over time, and test for the potential causal pathway between psychiatric disorders and drug use disorders. NIH project: Rakai HIV/AIDS prevention Program, Uganda
Evaluate the potential factors associated with adverse effects of adult male circumcision in HIV-infected and uninfected men, and assess HIV-1 subtype effect on HIV transmission. [research assistant for the work conducted with Dr. Ron Gray in Department of Family, Poplation and Reproductive Health, JHSPH]
