I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biostatistics at Johns Hopkins University. My official department website is here .

My primary research interest involves the development of statistical methods for analyzing cancer genome data. I am being advised by Giovanni Parmigiani and Jeffrey Leek. I am also working with Noah Rosenberg (at the University of Michigan) on some problems in population genetics.

I am originally from Bucharest, Romania. Before coming here, I was an undergraduate at the University of Illinois, where I majored in Mathematics and minored in History.
