Research
My research is focused on mathematical and statistical problems relating to functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). The topics I am interested in involve designing new k-space sampling trajectories; developing new reconstruction algorithms for transforming the resulting k-space data into images; and the statistical analysis of fMRI time series data. Here is some information about one of the many joint projects I have with Tor Wager in the Department of Psychology. Here is a commentary piece that Andrew Gelman and I wrote about the so-called Voodoo correlation controversy. It will appear in the May 2009 issue of Perspectives on Psychological Science as one of several discussion articles. |
