I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Biostatistics of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Prior to this I was a Researcher at Mathematica Policy Research, in Washington, DC. I received my Ph.D. in Statistics in 2004, from Harvard University, where I worked primarily with Don Rubin, Gary King, and Alan Zaslavsky.
I did my undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Smith College, and also spent time at St.Catherine's College in Oxford. I was born in Australia, but grew up in Laconia, New Hampshire. I like to spend time now on Squam Lake and in the little town of Center Sandwich, NH.
In 2001 I married Brian Doyle. He is a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve. We live in Washington, DC.
