alyssa frazee

welcome!

I am a PhD student in the Department of Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. I am primarily interested in statistical problems arising in genetics and genomics, and I also do some computing work. My research so far, with Jeff Leek and Ben Langmead, has focused on analysis of RNA sequencing data.

This year, I am coordinating the biostatistics student computing club. I am also one of the biostatistics TAs for this semester's MPH capstone projects, and this past fall, I was the lead TA for Biostat 611-612, Statistical Reasoning in Public Health.

I graduated from St. Olaf College in 2010 with a math degree and a statistics concentration.
